Is anyone besides Foxy having trouble uploading pics into the members gallery? If you could please try to upload a pic into gallery and see if it works, it would help in trying to work out what the problem is.
Thanks for any assistance :D

I can see your album and picture of Ollie and Bjorn. It says it was uploaded today? Is that right?

I have created an album and I can upload single files but when I try bulk uploading it starts but then collapses.
Are you trying bulk uploading, foxy?

No, I'm just trying to upload one at a time. Every time I hit members gallery, it goes to a page the says the server is either down for maintenance or needs fixing. It's strange that it's working for everyone else. I called the Apple Care to see if it has anything to do with my Mac and they said no, if it's the server, then it's the sites problem. I (as you know) have posted pics before without any problems. Sure wish we could get this figured out. Thanks to all who responded to let me know you're not having trouble.

I don't know, I wonder if the site has some daily maintenance which happened to be exactly when you were trying to upload photos? Maybe it is a coincidence? It is very strange!
I uploaded some photos because I wanted to feel better looking at my kid because today is the anniversary of the death of that friend I mentioned last month and I was feeling down... :(

You say "Members Gallery". Have you tried to create an album? Apparently they are two different options, although they should be on the same server.

With the help of my hubby, we were able to change one of my Curly albums to Oscars and uploaded his pics that I have so far. All I have is a cell phone, so they're not very good, but you get the general look of him. Isn't he cute. He's sweet, but stlll doesn't want anything to do with stepping up or my hand in general. Spose that has a lot to do with me chasing him around and grabbing him after he was first home. I regret following the breeders advice. Also, a friend whose been around cockatiels all her life is convinced he wasn't handled and is older than I was told. Even the breeder said he's big for his age if that is his real age. Breeder couldn't tell me when he was born, just said he was 8wks old. What's a lady to do.

He looks adorable!! :tielkiss2: You are very lucky to have him. :) :)
I cannot tell you how old he is, but I can tell you that when I bought mine he was 10 weeks old and the breeder said he would not grow much any more because they reach their full size very young. Mine was definitely young as you can see from the photo called Emily, he still had a grey head and I had to wait until he had his feathers although unfortunately I didn't see him when he was really a baby because nobody took me to the breeder.
He does look young though, so don't worry.... :)

Great looking little bird! Love the coloring. :)
Don't let my big mouth and strong opinions fool you. I'm a total rookie at raising cockatiels.

Thank you both. I'm pretty sure we're going to have a great relationship one day. He likes me now, so I expect it to just get better. I don't really care what age he is. I only wanted a pearl pied and he is a great one. I just keep putting my hand in his cage and hold it there, can get pretty close. Fortunately, he doesn't bite, even tho he beaks me and tries to be tough. I also try to get him to step up. Figure repetition will be the best. He knows his name and is learning how to whistle. He calls out, when I leave the room. I think these are all good things. I just have to remember to be PATIENT. I'm very happy that I have him.

And remember, if that doesn't work, beat him with a fly swatter! :D :D

I'm glad you are getting along.
BTW, a couple of us were talking about your troubles posting pics, and the topic of a Flickr account came up. There is a lady in England with the same screen name as yours on Flickr. We figured it probably wasn't you, as you would have probably shared your photography with us already. Anyway....you have a twin, even if in name only. Check out her page here: http://www.flickr.co...s/44351450@N03/

Omg, I could only dream of being half or a third of a photographer she is. Those are absolutely beautiful. It is strange we have the same screen name, but I can't think of anyone better to represent the name.
 Hey, I have a swatter really close to him. Thanks for the advice. and the positive words for my relationship.
