Time to come clean Tammy. That first thing you posted a pic of came from a 25 cent gumball machine!!! That's not a bird!

:P

Congrats Tammy. They're so tiny! It's really quite amazing that they start like that and end up so gorgeous. Do they all start out yellow? It's good to hear from you again. It's been awhile. Take care and great job.

It is hardly believable that these babies will turn out to be such sleek, beautiful creatures. They are the proverbial ugly ducklings. When they start to grow they get all spiky and have a head with a huge beak and basically the most frightening looking animals on earth then slowly, slowly they start to get their feathers and end up the gorgeous birds we love! Of course beauty is in the eye of the beholder!!!

You're welcome. I couldn't quite get the yellow thing. Were the greys and white face yellow to begin with? I know this sounds stupid and just babble, but I'd really like to know. Guess I can look online. Talk about the epitome of laziness.

BOB!! Welcome to the Dark Side!!!! :jump: :jump:

Foxy! Our numbers are growing!!

Bob, it is good to know that someone else sees these babies for what they really are. Until you broke cover it was only Foxy and me that thought like that. It is good to have some more support. Just know that most folks around here think baby cockatiels are adorable. I'm sure some of them may show up to fend us off!

:)
